Hi! We’re Ben and Stacey. Husband and wife and owners of The Eloise. We’re both natives of Wisconsin and love everything to do with hosting memorable events.
The idea to build a wedding venue in Southern Wisconsin started back in 2016 while planning our own wedding. The venue search was a very frustrating and defeating process for us. We had a really hard time finding a venue that fit our style and vision but also allowed us to customize the experience for our guests.
After all the wedding celebrations ended and we returned to our post-wedding lives, we couldn’t stop thinking about building a wedding venue. It took us about six months after our wedding to realize our crazy idea to build a venue was turning more and more into a passion to bring a functionally designed wedding venue to Southern Wisconsin. We spent the next two years researching the design of the venue, talking with vendors and couples to understand all aspects of a wedding day and how that relates to the functionality of a wedding venue. We know there are SO many moving parts to consider when it comes to your wedding day and we incorporated all your must-haves and needs when designing and building The Eloise.
We wanted to make sure The Eloise was designed to flow naturally with the timeline of a wedding day, was elegant and modern yet had a neutral canvas so couples could express their unique styles, and would be a great space for photos. Because at the end of the night, all you have are the memories, great stories and photos so we knew we needed a space that would make it easier for photographers to capture all those forever memories.
What sets The Eloise apart from other wedding venues in Wisconsin is that we specifically built the venue for weddings. We took the time to thoroughly understand what a venue needs in order to be functional (and elegant) for our couples, their guests, and vendor team. You may not notice these details and nuances during your tour but you are definitely going to appreciate them on your wedding day. The intentional design of the venue makes your wedding day run smooth and the big transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner effortless.
