Wedding photographers truly play an essential role in your wedding day, and you’re going to be spending a lot of time with them, so it’s important to give yourself time to ensure you have multiple choices and ones that fit both your personality and style! We recommend booking your wedding planner 10-12 months out from your wedding day.
You may be saying, “okay, that’s great and all, but what do I even ask different wedding photographers to find the ones who would be great contenders for my special day?” We’ve got you covered. Here are a few great questions to get you started when talking to potential photographers for your wedding:
#1: What is your cancellation policy?
#2: Do you foresee your style changing before our wedding?
#3: How would you describe your working style?
#4: Do you offer retouching, color adjustment, or other corrective services? Are those included or an additional charge?
#5: If we want a second shooter is that an option and what is the price?
#6: What is the backup plan if you’re sick on the day of our wedding or something goes wrong with your equipment?
