Let it be known that we at The Eloise have officially crowned Anna and David as the Queen and King of DIY couples. When we say the personalization they put into their day was next level, we mean it! From handmade escort cards with handwritten letters to each of their guests, an interactive wedding day crossword puzzle, marquee letters playing off of David’s last name, Yu, spelling “I Love Yu More,” their welcome sign, and a donut wall spanning 8ft, these two created so many details of their day. Taking the personalization even further, they also incorporated touches like their favorite food trucks, hard ciders from their favorite place in Michigan on tap, and MORE!
The sky cleared for Anna and David’s celebration as it had been raining every single weekend that season, but these two lucked out with one of the best weather days we’ve ever had! Ashley from Midwestern Bride did a fabulous job planning and coordinating their event and gorgeous blooms from daffodil*parker were a showstopping focal point throughout the evening. After drinks, food, frisbee, and some dancing, Anna made a quick run up to her getting-ready suite to change into a stunning LWD (Little White Dress) and high-top Converse to dance the rest of the night away in!
We loved hosting Anna and David’s special day at The Eloise, and know you will love every detail from their celebration below!
